Methods to handle troublesome operator functions

[2018-01-15] Operator functions are used to describe many important processes in science. When things like friction are included in the models, it often results in operator functions that are so-called non-selfadjoint operator functions, which complicates the analysis of them. Axel Torshage presents methods to handle this kind of operator functions in his dissertation, which he defends at Umeå University on Friday, 19 January.
